Advice to parents
For the smooth running of your lesson:
To make sure that your children learn in the best conditions, please remember to:
- Please arrive early at the meeting point indicated on your lesson card.
- esf does not provide insurance for students. Make sure you have personal coverage or take out ski insurance if needed.
- A valid ski pass is required for lift access and is not included in the lesson price.
- Equipment is not included in the lesson price. Please come fully equipped.
- esf reserves the right to adjust schedules and programs during the season.
- Weather conditions and lift breakdowns are beyond instructors’ responsibility.
To make sure that your children learn in the best conditions, please remember to:
- Dress your child according to the weather to protect them from the cold: ski jacket, hat or cap, mittens, goggles, sunscreen, tissues.
- Make sure their equipment is suitable: skis and boots adapted to their size and level. Poles are only required from 1st Star level.
- Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for children on the slopes, and is mandatory for some levels (competition, free-style).
- Wearing wrist guards is also recommended for snowboarders.
- Avoid calling out to your child during the lessons.
- Let the instructors decide if it is necessary to change the group level of your child
- Your child is on holidays and here to have fun. Please respect their pace and do not try to make them a champion too early!
