Advice to parents

For the smooth running of your lesson:
  • Please arrive early at the meeting point indicated on your lesson card.
  • esf does not provide insurance for students. Make sure you have personal coverage or take out ski insurance if needed.
  • A valid ski pass is required for lift access and is not included in the lesson price.
  • Equipment is not included in the lesson price. Please come fully equipped.
  • esf reserves the right to adjust schedules and programs during the season.
  • Weather conditions and lift breakdowns are beyond instructors’ responsibility.

To make sure that your children learn in the best conditions, please remember to:
  • Dress your child according to the weather to protect them from the cold: ski jacket, hat or cap, mittens, goggles, sunscreen, tissues.
  • Make sure their equipment is suitable: skis and boots adapted to their size and level. Poles are only required from 1st Star level.
  • Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for children on the slopes, and is mandatory for some levels (competition, free-style).
  • Wearing wrist guards is also recommended for snowboarders.
  • Avoid calling out to your child during the lessons.
  • Let the instructors decide if it is necessary to change the group level of your child
  • Your child is on holidays and here to have fun. Please respect their pace and do not try to make them a champion too early!
